The Gravel Fever Challenge Entreprises stands out as a friendly and committed competition, promoting team spirit and collective achievement. The event is not a timed race in the traditional sense, but a challenge highlighting the participation, creativity and dynamism of companies through three distinct trophies. Taking place on public roads and paths open to traffic, this event requires scrupulous respect for the Highway Code, the general regulations of France Vélo Évènements and the regulations of the prefectural authorities.

Participation is open to teams of 3 to 6 male and female cyclists over the age of 16. Each team embarks on the course with the aim of raising the profile of its company and strengthening internal cohesion.

Tracking is done via a GPX trace, sent by e-mail at least one week before the event, and also available on our websites and social networks.

The early bird rate is €65 per person, and the post-July 31, 2024 rate is €75.

Teams must arrive together at the finish to be eligible for the ranking, having had their Gravel Fever Challenge Entreprises booklets stamped, thus demonstrating their team spirit and collective commitment.

The challenges are threefold:

1. Challenge Sportif Trophy: This classification rewards the sporting spirit of the teams, based on cohesion, with the team's grouped arrival as the criterion.

2. Challenge Finishers Trophy: recognizes the company that has mobilized the greatest number of employees to cross the finish line, underlining the importance of participation beyond the competition.

3. Ambiance Challenge Trophy: Three categories are evaluated - presence on social networks via a dedicated #, support by the best group of supporters, and the best costumes among participants and supporters, judging the originality and festive spirit of the companies.

The start of the Gravel Fever Challenge Entreprises is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2024, in Châtellerault. Involvement in this event reflects the desire of companies to promote well-being, health and team spirit among their employees, within the framework of an event combining sport, nature and conviviality.

For participants who so wish, "cancellation" insurance is offered at the time of registration for the Event on Njuko, whose policy can be consulted on Njuko. It is imperative that all participants take the necessary measures to ensure their own safety and that of other competitors. This includes respecting the Highway Code, wearing an approved helmet and being in good physical and psychological condition to take part in the event. Participants must also ensure that their equipment is in good condition.

If a participant is in difficulty or seriously injured, it's important to call for help.

Here are the different options available:

- By dialing the PC Security number on the frame plate.

- Asking another rider to call for help if the rider is unable to do so himself.

- Emergency services: 15

- Police Secours: 17

- Fire department: 18

It's important to bear in mind that a variety of unforeseen environmental and event-related circumstances may result in longer-than-expected rescue times. In such situations, your safety will depend on what you've packed in your bag and on whether you've complied with the mandatory equipment.

All regulators and members of the organization are empowered to take the following measures:

- Exclude from the event any competitor deemed unable to continue the event.

- Evacuate riders they consider to be in danger by any means necessary.

- Direct participants to the most appropriate care structure. It should be noted that any rider calling on the services of a doctor or first-aider automatically submits to their authority and agrees to accept their decisions.

A participant who wilfully strays from the course is no longer under the responsibility of the organization. During the event, the only way for participants to communicate with the organization is to call the Security HQ number, which must be communicated in advance.

Mechanical assistance is only permitted in the feed zones. Participants may not receive mechanical assistance outside these zones.

Refuelling stations will be available at dedicated areas. Participants should plan their refuelling accordingly and be self-sufficient between these points. You will be informed of the zones in question when you receive your GPX track. That is, no later than one week before Gravel Fever.

Each participant is responsible for their own bike and equipment. They must ensure that their bike is in good working order and that they have all the necessary equipment for the race, including repair and first-aid tools.
